DIY Coconut Tangerine Sugar Scrub Yummy

I love sugar scrubs, but the 1 's you buy  at the stores are soo expensive! I have found a few recipes that I've tried out and love for a fraction of the cost. Plus its that time of year when you can make a whole bunch of them and give them as gifts! Who doesn't love there skin feeling soft specially during the winter months! you can add a gift tag and holiday ribbon and there you go!
Note: You can create a basic scrub using only coconut oil, sugar, and essential oil. It’s optional to use the grind of a tangerine and a soap colorant to dye the sugar scrub. I don’t always use soap colorants but this time around I preferred to have the orange hue in the scrub. Again, this is for appearance only and could be left out.
Nourish dry skin with this tropical coconut tangerine sugar.

Coconut Tangerine Sugar Scrub
Yield: 2 cups
Ingredients
  1. 1 cup coconut oil
  2. 1-2 cups granulated sugar
  3. 6-8 drops tangerine essential oil
  4. 1 tangerine (optional)
  5. a few drops of orange soap colorant (optional)
Instructions
  1. Combine coconut oil, essential oil, and soap colorant together. Add 1-2 cups of sugar until you find the consistency you prefer. The more sugar used the coarser the scrub will become. Grate tangerine peel into sugar scrub and mix well.
  2. Store in airtight container.

• While your candle wax is melting, grab your mason jar and pour a little bit of corn syrup into your mason jar and spread around with a paint brush or your finger. Quickly pour your red sprinkles on top of the corn syrup.
• Grab a wick and dab a dot of corn syrup on the bottom and firmly press to the bottom of your mason jar.
